Tatum Robotics
& Adaptive Wear

We teamed up with Tatum Robotics to create a glove for a robotic hand that signs for the deaf and blind community

Because of the inhuman shape of the hand, my team decided to use the tape technique to draw our seams directly on the hand.

Fabric Play

Our team used a spacer fabric at first to address some issues of gapping from the 3D printed hand. However, users did not really have a positive or negative reaction to this change. They did however, prefer a Jersey knit glove because of the fabric’s softness.

Adaptive wear

Capsule collection for those with achondroplasia.

Achondroplasia is the most common form of skeletal dysplasia. This form of short limb dwarfism impairs the growth of bone in the limbs and causes abnormal growth in the spine and skull. This condition also causes curving of the limbs and spine.
